TrainerTroy
Yoga is a passion that I discovered quite by accident and in a later part of my life. It is the bridge between working with my and others bodies to live a healthy life and looking at the mind and how much it affects our being. It is the answer to all the questions I have about how the human mechanism works. I am impassioned every time I take a class and excited every time I teach a class. After experiencing a personal tragedy and loss
I moved to an island off the After another trying period in my life, I decided to dedicate myself to sharing my health knowledge and passion with others when someone suggested I try Yoga. It brought together all the hard work I had been putting into my health at the gym, the relaxation, stress reduction and mental clarity I received from meditation training. It was a light bulb. I have since fallen in love with Yoga and all the medical benefits it offers. I have taken classes with Shiva Rea, Beth Shaw, Core Power Yoga, studying Hatha Flow, Ashtanga, Bikrams, and Kundalini styles. I am dedicating myself to on going education in this sacred arts and sharing the constantly evolving passion with the world.

![]() | Christa AngeloChrista embarked on her conscious study of yoga 10 years ago but believes shes been doing asana since she was a toddler. Displaying a desire to stretch, roll and tumble about, her parents enrolled her in gymnastics at the age of 4. Twenty-eight years later Christa feels equally home on the yoga mat as she does back-flipping down the beach! She is extremely passionate about yoga and leading a healthy, active lifestyle. Her love of surfing, travel and adventure has led her to teach on both coasts of the Unites States, as well as Hawaii and Panama. Christa received her certification with Yoga Alliance in 2006 as a 200-hour registered teacher in Integrative Yoga. She has been teaching for 3 years and has since gone on to study with master teachers John Friend, Roger Cole, Erich Schiffman and Shive Rea with whom she is training under for her 500-hour level certification in Prana Vinyasa Flow. Her eclectic styles draws from her solid background in Ashtanga and Iyengar traditions while weaving in the graceful quality of Vinyasa Flow, the compassionate heart-centered spirit of Anusara, a world-music inspired soundtrack, and a touch of enthusiasm to create each well-rounded class. Christa strives to create a warm and welcoming environment for all students to explore their bodies and connection to the Universe in an effort to enjoy both the internal and external gifts of yoga. She believes strongly that yoga should be available to everyone and teaches a weekly volunteer yoga class at Laura's House in San Clemente while also working full-time in Marketing at Sambazon www.sambazon.com. |
