Teaching feels like a natural extension of my passion for helping people feel strong and confident in their own bodies. As an indoor cycling instructor, I was always drawn to high-energy, fast-paced workouts. But over time, I realized my body was craving balance—something to complement the intensity of the bike. That’s what initially led me to yoga classes. I was looking for strength, flexibility, and a little stillness to help reset my body and mind. By moving into teaching at Flo, I found the perfect way to combine the push and reset in one space. My teaching is shaped by a mix of personal experience, the incredible instructors who’ve inspired me, and the people who show up in class every day.
Outside the studio, I work full-time in finance, where I love connecting with people and helping them reach their goals—just in a different way than I do in fitness. My role models are definitely my parents—they’ve shaped who I am today. I love to run—it’s been my go-to way to clear my head. I love staying active, staying connected, and finding joy in the little things.
What Courtney says about her class: I know what it feels like to walk into a class needing a reset—physically, mentally, or emotionally—so I always try to create a space that feels challenging, but supportive. I believe in bringing positive energy, a strong beat, and a reminder that showing up for yourself is the hardest part—and also the most powerful.
