meet lauren.
I see yoga as an anchor through the extreme and challenging moments of life. After finding yoga in a time of cavernous grief, I realized the stability it could bring to my life. In turn, I became a teacher because I wanted to give others the same opportunity to explore what they needed to in their own way. You never know what people are going through so my teaching approach is to have a full body feel good flow where nothing is too complicated. This provides students a safe place to show up as they are.
Outside the stu, I have a very sweet husband and two kitties - Stan Beeman and Sadie Sorceress. I am a transportation manager during the day but love the creativity of teaching a yoga sequence by night. I enjoy trying new restaurants, am obsessed with coffee (La Prima) and crafting.
What Lauren says about her class: “My classes feel grounded and provide plenty of opportunity to explore what you need physically, mentally or emotionally. I invite you to luxuriate in the transitions from pose to pose and make them a part of the dance. By the end of class, you will feel a full body reset and ready to take on the rest of your day.”

What others are saying: “Lauren is clearly an experienced and skilled yoga teacher! Her flow is thoughtfully planned, challenging and creative. I love how she motivates you to push yourself, while also offering variations. Lauren’s calming presence left me feeling centered and at peace!”- Colleen Osterdahl
