meet phoebe.
I aim to uplift the collective consciousness. Originally coming to yoga in college seeking peace and nervous system regulation, I found a physical practice that left me feeling as if I were walking on air. While that feeling endured, my perspective of yoga evolved as I began living the philosophical concepts that more in-depth study brought. Since then, I have undergone more than 600 hours of study, on topics from anatomy to Yin Yoga and Traditional Chinese Medicine. I take my students on an easeful journey that introduces their body as a home and sanctuary that they can recede into for contemplation and reflection at any time.
My life outside yoga very much relates to the peace that I seek through my practice. I enjoy being in nature engaged in hiking, walking, kayaking, snowboarding, and going to the beach. I have one dog
named Roxy, and two cats named Tina and Louise after the sisters in Bob's Burgers. I live with my partner, Will, and we have the most fun together. He is my best friend and I wouldn't change a single thing about our lives.
What Phoebe says about her class: I specialize in trauma informed Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga, using language to create an invitation for exploration and offer ancient wisdom that honors these practices and the lineage of teachers that have come before me.
What others are saying: “Phoebe gives an amazing class! Her occasional use of sound bath at the end is perfection. I leave class feeling both relaxed and energized, and it’s a great start to my day!”-Missy McCann
